I believe the Akiko chip in the CD32 has similar issues.
#CANNON FODDER SAVE DISK ADF FULL#
It's my understanding that NTSC Agnus chips simply can't render the full 256 lines of resolution that PAL mode is supposed to have, although they can handle more than the standard 200.

What exactly does Degrader do? I was under the impression it was a software hack for reverting to old Kickstarts. The CD32 did get released in Canada, but I don't think many made it to store shelves in the U.S. A few others give out of memory errors in PAL mode. I have those compilation CDs, and I often have to use the startup menu to enable PAL not only when I start the disc, but also when I start the games themselves. Unfortunately, the CD32 has the same issue with screen cropping in many PAL games. I also have an NTSC CD32, which is hooked up through s-video to the 1084s, and the colours are fine there as well. I've never noticed any issues with colours, but I'm using a 1084s. I'm glad I'm not the only long time Amiga user here. It's very strange, and it's my last resort to find a Minimig-compatible Cannon Fodder (ADF version can't save, and WHDLOAD version just sucks with so many OS swaps with only 1.5MB) And even if you have more ram the quit key does not work on 68K CPUs with the WHDLOAD version of Cannon Fodder so your saves are never transfer to HD making it useless on a 4MB minimig.Cool. Could you guys try this HD version of Cannon Fodder? It DOES save to HD, it only requires 1.5 chipmem to work, and it works great in UAE (plain 68000, 1.5 chip, no startup-sequence, ECS/OCS) and my unexpanded A1200, but in the Minimig it hangs on a black screen when trying to load a saved game, or when trying to save. What command you must type in the Action-Replay-screen, you can find in the AR3-manual, which could be found easily on the internet. Maybe a little bit circumstantial, but this should work in every case.ĭONT FORGET before start playing, that you need an empty adf-disk-file for this, which must be inserted in df0 before start the packing-process. This goes fast, when you use CPU-TURBO while packing. Then you can all the time start this game from this point on. I dont saved Cannon-Fodder on my Minimig until now, so i am not sure.Ģ) play to a certain point and then freeze the game with Action-Replay 3. 1) create a cannon-fodder savedisk in WIN-UAE or on a Amiga-500 (and use Amiga-Explorer to copy the disk over to an adf). Maybe you could do some of this 2 suggestions HOJO NOREM. But i dont think this solves something here. There is an extended-adf file-format which has the size of 2.023 kb. In this case there is not disk swap necessary but only a few tools can handle this special format. AFAIK WinUAE is able to handle large ADF image, where 2 or more disk is packed sequential after each other. Even WinUAE will be unable to save data, as long as this ADF image should stay at standard format. In this case its not a Minimig issue but a general ADF issue.
#CANNON FODDER SAVE DISK ADF PATCH#
When there is no patch or hack available for the desired game, it will be impossible to store any of this data on a floppy disk image. CarrierCommand and Turrican-II are known to me. Some game indeed use own sector/track format to save game state or high score. Hence (as far as I know) the only way to make one would be to create the disk on a real amiga, use transdisk, and then try the resultant ADF. Bladesinger: Cannon Fodder uses a custom save format, but the emulators I've tried to use to make the save disk with can't handle the custom disk write code. Or make one empty formated disk(adf) to try,but i dunno if this working fine.
#CANNON FODDER SAVE DISK ADF HOW TO#
But how to a make a save game disk? So i can play with the. Playing LTC 2, Lemmings and Cannon fodder agmonst others.
